ISLAMABAD: International Aviation Audit Team International Air Transport Association Operational Safety Audit Team will arrive in Pakistan on September 5 to conduct a complete audit of the national airline.
According to details, the International Aviation Audit Team International Air Transport Association Operational Safety Audit Team will arrive in Pakistan on September 5 from USA.
The foreign team will conduct a full audit of PIA from September 7 to September 12, 2020. The audit team will also visit Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Multan Airports.
The foreign team will audit all departments of PIA, including key departments of PIA’s Flight Operations, Passenger Services, Safety and Security Engineering.
The purpose of the audit is to check the safety standards and aircraft of PIA, and the airlines are reviewed every two years.
The results of commercial aviation safety performance are released under the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which shows that the IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) How important it is and how important it is to have it.
The IOSA Certification Audit is an internationally recognized diagnostic system designed to evaluate an airline’s operational management and control system.
Prohibitions in Europe and the United States are likely to be lifted following a report by a foreign audit team.
